HOME

Ffald-y-Brenin is a beautiful award-winning Christian Retreat Centre in the hills by the sea in North Pembrokeshire. St David’s, the smallest City in Wales and home of its Patron Saint, is just a short distance away. The rich heritage of Welsh Celtic Christianity evidences itself in a rich variety of Celtic Crosses, ancient Holy Wells and Pilgrim Routes focussed on St David’s. In fact it was an early Celtic Saint, St Brynach, who brought Christianity to this part of Wales.
Situated on a site of remarkable beauty within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park (* see below for opening link), there is an abundance of wildlife, birds and flowers; woods and waterfalls are on the doorstep. The Coastal Path leads to secluded bays and coves, whilst spectacular views open up from the hills.

From the Centre there is a variety of walks, in the Grounds and beyond, through fields, woods and moorland; the ridge above us looks out over Dinas Head and the Nevern Estuary. There are numerous and varied visitor attractions in the area.
There is an almost tangible sense of God’s presence here.

Run by a Charitable Trust, we welcome visitors from all Christian denominations and streams.

Please note: because of the nature of the hillside and stone buildings we regret that we are unsuited for physically disabled visitors.
