Ffald-y-Brenin is a House of Prayer. Everything we do, everything that happens here, is soaked in prayer.

Ffald-y-Brenin is any easy place to pray in. We are a “thin place”, where the barrier between heaven and earth seems gossamer thin.

Our rhythm of prayer is open to visitors, and our monthly Prayer Day is attended by people from across a wide area.

Other Prayer Meetings are held here in both English and Welsh.

Guests may use the extensive Grounds, rooms or Chapel for private Prayer. Casual visitors are welcome and there are drink-making and toilet facilities available for them.

Many guests have encountered God at the recently erected High Cross on the promontory.

We seek to support prayer-based mission in Wales and the nations.

Through the Caleb Initiative (* see below for opening link) we seek to train individuals, churches and movements to start networks of Local Houses of Prayer.

Ffald-y-Brenin is home to the Caleb Prayer for Wales, now used daily by thousands of people and many churches. It has also been adopted by several other nations.
